Themis Improvement

Themis is the University’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. It runs on Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11 (R11), which has been superseded by Release 12 (R12). When vendor support for R11 expires in November 2013, the University will be unable to continue critical HR and Finance operations. Therefore, it is imperative that the University moves from R11 to R12.

Improved productivity through administrative efficiencies featuring workflow standardisation and automation.

The overall benefits of the program include increased functionality and ease of use, standardised business processes with reduced complexity and improved user experience and satisfaction. 

Who will be affected?

All University staff will be impacted at varying levels.

When?

The program is in Phase 2, with the expected Go-Live date of the new system January 1st, 2013.
